About The Role: Language Coordinator
Do you have a flair for languages and a passion for ensuring clear communication across diverse audiences? Our Language Coordinator role bridges linguistic gaps in our multimedia projects—ranging from real estate guides to creative YouTube content. If you excel at managing translation workflows, coordinating with multilingual teams, and guaranteeing cultural accuracy, this opportunity might be your perfect fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

  1. Translation & Localization Management

    • Oversee translation projects (scripts, subtitles, marketing materials) for various languages, ensuring both linguistic and cultural accuracy.

    • Coordinate with freelance translators, editors, and language service providers to maintain consistency and uphold brand voice.

  2. Subtitling & Captioning

    • Implement subtitles and closed captions for videos across multiple platforms (YouTube, social media, educational portals).

    • Review and refine translations for clarity, pacing, and readability—especially for real estate walkthroughs or creative vlogs.

  3. Terminology & Brand Voice

    • Develop and maintain a terminology database or style guide that reflects our Aim Up ethos—fairness, transparency, and collaboration.

    • Ensure language usage remains consistent with brand guidelines, capturing the right tone for local or international audiences.

  4. Cross-Department Collaboration

    • Work closely with producers, editors, and content creators to anticipate language needs and schedule translations in advance.

    • Liaise with real estate specialists, ensuring property descriptions or transaction documents are linguistically precise.

  5. Project Coordination & Scheduling

    • Track deadlines and progress across multiple translation projects, adjusting priorities as needed.

    • Communicate with stakeholders about project timelines, potential bottlenecks, and necessary resources.

  6. Quality Assurance & Review

    • Conduct spot checks on translated or localized materials, verifying accuracy and coherence.

    • Gather feedback from global audiences or local market teams to refine processes and improve future projects.

  7. Cultural Sensitivity & Market Adaptation

    • Research local customs, slang, and cultural nuances to ensure messaging resonates positively in each targeted region.

    • Offer input on layout changes for multi-language text, preventing design or UI issues.

What Makes You a Fit

  • Multilingual & Culturally Aware: Proficiency in at least two languages (in addition to English) and a proven ability to adapt content for diverse audiences.

  • Organizational Savvy: Skilled at juggling multiple projects, timelines, and language variants without missing a beat.

  • Detail-Oriented: Able to spot errors in grammar, context, or brand alignment—especially under tight deadlines.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Comfortable explaining language nuances or cultural concerns to non-linguists, ensuring everyone understands the why behind your edits.

  • Tech-Friendly: Familiar with localization tools, subtitling software, or project management platforms that streamline the translation process.

  • Team Player: Willing to collaborate with internal teams (creative, real estate, marketing) while effectively managing external translators or agencies.

  • Ethical & Brand-Aligned: Committed to our Wholesaling Real Estate Manifesto—translating and localizing content that prioritizes fair, transparent messaging.

Preferred (But Not Required)

  • Additional Language Skills: Proficiency in more than two languages is a plus.

  • Experience with Real Estate Terminology: Familiarity with industry-specific terms and legal language used in contracts or property descriptions.

  • Subtitling & Captioning Background: Understanding of best practices for on-screen text—timing, line breaks, and character limits.

Why Join Us

  • Impactful Global Reach: Help bring our real estate knowledge and creative content to audiences around the world.

  • Growth-Oriented Environment: We support professional development, whether that’s learning a new language or mastering the latest localization software.

  • Ethical & Transparent Culture: Our Aim Up philosophy means you’ll be part of a team committed to fair, inclusive communication.

  • Collaborative Community: Work alongside passionate creators, producers, and real estate experts driven by mutual success.
